Played Bass with 35 other professionals in the annual Suits That Rock Concerts in 2021 and 2022. Bassist for Drums for Peace, Bingo Smith, The Deciders, Disturbance and a bunch of sit-ins in Cincinnati, FL Keys and Chapala, MX.

Been playing percussion also for 3 decades+: West African, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazilian Samba, pop, rock, techno, you name it … Great with mallet percussion like vibraphone, marimba and the glockenspiel I’ve had since I was 10 years old.

Studied percussion in Matanzas, Cuba in 1995 with members of renowned groups Los Muñequitos de Matanzas and Los VanVan.

Have a broad world percussion collection including 22” Brazilian Surdo, many Afro-Cuban handhelds (maracas, cowbell, etc.), pro djembe, Dominican Tambora and a bunch more wonderful sounds like thumb piano, kerosene-can slit drums and rainsticks. I’ve played 90% of the percussion parts in my various recorded compositions.
